How is this different from hiring a bookkeeper?

A bookkeeper records transactions. A Finvo membership gives you a senior accountant who keeps your books clean, explains your numbers in plain language, and works directly with your CPA. We also offer in-person visits so we can understand how your business actually operates.

Do I need to change my CPA?

No. You keep your existing CPA. We prepare clean books, schedules, and reports for them and coordinate directly so year-end is smooth and stress-free.

What's the difference between Online Only and In-Person + Online?

Online Only membership gives you full monthly accounting and support via video calls and email. In-Person + Online adds regular visits to your business location in the Surrey, BC area.

Can I upgrade or change my plan later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. As your business grows, you can upgrade from Managed Accounting to Growth CFO, or switch from Online Only to In-Person at any renewal period.

Question 5

Do you handle tax filings?

GST/HST filing, payroll processing, and T4/T4A filing are all included in every membership. T2 corporate and T1 personal tax returns are optional add-ons that we can quote separately, or your existing CPA can handle them using the clean books and schedules we prepare.

Where is in-person service currently available?

In-person visits are currently available only within roughly 30 km of Surrey, BC. We're planning to expand to Edmonton and Courtenay in the future. Online Only memberships are available Canada-wide.
